A member asked:

What works better for parkinson's disease: levodopa or anticholinergic?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Answer: Clearly the anticholinergics are archaic, and have substantial tolerance issues. The main neurotransmitter issue involves dopamine, so L-Dopa is the most direct and logical intervention. I never use anticholinergics for my patients these days.
