What happens if i cut a nerve?

Severed nerve: Loss of function of the areas it supplies, if it is the only or main supply to that area.

The question is this: Why would you be cutting a nerve? Don't cut a nerve. If you are thinking of doing this, seek help from a physician / psychiatrist.

Loss of sensation: If a nerve cut occurs, there is an interruption in the information being transmitted to the skin or muscles to and from the brain. It can result in a problem with a muscle or in a loss of sensation.
