Testing...: Knowing this family history, your cardiologist will likely want to do testing on your heart to determine if you are at risk. Some possible tests would include an echocardiogram, cardiac stress test, Holter monitor, etc. These are non-invasive tests that can give a good picture of your heart and its function. Cardiac catheterization is invasive but may be needed if other tests are abnormal. See doc
