The flow from the upper chamber (Left Atrium) to Left Ventricle is regulated by the mitral valve. - Depending on the pressure, volume, muscle of the left ventricle the way the blood goes from atrium to ventricle may vary - Velocities can tell your cardiologist the level of impairment in diastole of ir normal.
