No: Influenza (flu) is a virus. However, if the person developed a secondary bacterial infection than antibiotics might be indicated.

No: As the "flu" is caused by one of many strains of influenza virus. These don't respond to antibiotics(which address bacterial infections). There are antivirals out there which can treat influenzal infections. Also realize that some people get a complicating bacterial infection when they are stricken with the "flu" and antibiotics can treat this complication.
