Blood in stool: It means there's bleeding somewhere in the digestive tract. Some causes are Diverticular disease, Anal fissure, Colitis, Inflammatory bowel diseases, Peptic ulcers, Polyps, Cancer, Varicose veins in the esophagus, or tears in the bowels. Consult your PCP for workup.
