A member asked:

What does aso positive mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Strep infection: Anti-streptolysin titre is for the antibody against streptolysin-O which is an immunogenic hemolytic toxin produced by streptococcus A hemolyticus. Basically a marker for infection such as strep throat. The higher the titre the more recent the infection. To just be positive without a titer doesn`t mean much.
