Pray: By the time Reye syndrome develops, there is a downward spiral most kids follow.Treatment when it was common consisted of supportive care. IV fluids, blood pressure support, breathing support, etc. Most died but a few survived within a week. Research was hampered by small numbers and rapid decline.Today it is quite rare.
