Rare: This is a rare condition of a tumor producing a hormone gastrin, causing too much acid in the stomach, possibly leading to a bad stomach ulcer condition. There can be medical treatment to reduce the acid production. If a specific tumor can be located, then surgical excision is performed if it can be safely performed.
