Inf or tumor: Scalp rash due to infection rarely spreads to cervical lymph nodes. One has to think that it is more likely neoplasm and of those it is the squamous Ca of the scalp that can cause a non nealing rash and spread to regional cervical lymph nodes. Bx of course is indicated with initiation of proper treatment.
