Try the NSAIDS, ---: which you have used in the past without any side effects; with a Ring cushion that you sit on, to prevent your tailbone from being sat upon. Sometimes, in some patients a steroid shot be helpful and in the past removal of the broken part of the tail bone (coccygectomy) was done. Nowadays, however , the removal is not done. Good Luck.
