Possible Chiari: This statement means that a portion of your cerebellum (the cerebellar tonsils) is sitting lower down than is normal. If your cerebellar tonsils are low lying they can sit in an opening in your skull and get pushed on by your skull. This condition is called a Chiari I malformation. it can also cause compression on the brainstem. People whose cerebellar tonsils sit 12 mm low tend to have symptoms.
