Prolotherapy: Prolotherapy or Regenerative Injection Therapy or 1 of its variants like PRP (platelet rich plasma) injections cause the body to repair the injured tendon.Another idea is neuroprolotherapy to quiet nerves in the area, increase their ability to stimulate nutrition & repair (trophism) of the tendon.Athletes all over the world are using these methods more and more.Osteopathic manipulation may help.
