What is the treatment for laryngitis?

Supportive care: Laryngitis is usually a viral infection, and is contagious. Push fluids, gargle with warm salt water, and use lozenges. Get plenty of rest. There is no treatment other than supportive care. Don't share drinking glasses, and avoid close contact with others. It will decrease the chances of others catching it. Hope you feel better soon.
