Posterior Pituitary: tumors are rare. Clinically one may see diabetes insipidus and symptoms due to mass effect (including hypopituitarism due to compression / involvement of the pituitary stalk) In general the majority of pituitary microadenomas (less than 1 cm) are asymptomatic. I would consult with an endocrinologist and a neurologist if you have not already done so.
