Avoid constipation: should avoid meds that cause constipation. also do warm sits bath 3 times a day for 10 days, and apply hemorrhoid cream after each bath, suppositories don't help much. High fiber diet is also beneficial.

Hemorrhoids: Yes, these may help, but the best thing to is to see either a gastroenterologist or a colorectal surgeon and have these evaluated. They may require surgery. Cannot recommend specific interventions, but both of the treatments you mention may work. Try them one at a time and base further efforts on their effectiveness. Best wishes.
