A member asked:

What is the treatment for intraventricular hemorrhage?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fluid drainage: Intraventricular hemorrhage can block the flow of spinal fluid in the brain causing severe pressure build up. We put a tube into the ventricle temporarily and drain out the spinal fluid until the brain pressure goes down to normal. Occasionally there is a need to remove the hemorrhage surgically.
