Yes: NyQuil contains acetaminophen (Tylenol) for pain and/or fever, in addition to a cough suppressant and antihistamine. It is safe to take Aleve (naproxen) and NyQuil during the same time period. The combination of acetaminophen and Aleve (naproxen) is particularly helpful for relieving fever, discomfort, and/or pain. I hope you feel better!

Yes: If you take baby aspirin to prevent blood clots, you must wait at least 30 minutes after aspirin before taking Aleve (naproxen). If you take Aleve (naproxen) first, wait at least 4 hours before taking aspirin. (Do not use any kind of coated aspirin.) Also note that Nyquil makes you sleepy. Even slight sedation is dangerous if you drive. Results are likely to be less than dramatic.
