Most likely: Fever is most often related to an infection. Heart rate usually increases with a fever. There is a high risk of dehydration with a fever and diarrhea. It is important to stay well hydrated by drinking lots of liquids. Tylenol (acetaminophen) and/or Ibuprofen are safe and effective for treatment of fever and/or discomfort.
