8-10 years: would have know after 8-10 years. Unlikely to have HIV with no symptoms at 20 years. Have your doctor do an HIV blood test at your next annual physical.

Possibly but: It would be very rare for HIV to remain quiescent for that long without eventually evolving into full blown AIDS. Why not just get tested if you are worried?
