Unsure: Question has typos and hard to figure out your question. There is not a medication to measure someone's sugar, only machines like accucheck or one touch. As for medications to control blood sugar, there are many, it depends on your father's condition as there are many that work well for certain people and may have a dual effect, such as weight loss. Cost is also an issue for most.
