Depends on symptoms: HIDA scans on their own usually can't diagnose a problem. Your doctor considers them along with your signs and symptoms, other test results, and other imaging to arrive at a diagnosis. Sometimes can have normal hida test with typical gb disease symptoms. If gb diet relievs symptoms and biliary colic or pain typical may get relief with gb removal. Consult your physician.
