Many options: Post nasal, drip can be helped with antihistamines, nasal washes, and diet changes as well as steroid sprays. Get evaluated by otolaryngologist ENT, to see if the problem can be solved rather than just masked.

Post nasal drip: Steroid nasal inhalers are mainstay of treatment for postnasal drip, but not not everybody respond equally to the sprays. Antihistamines and antileukotrienes medications are alternate options by itself or in combination with the spray.

PND: Post nasal drip (PND) can indeed be annoying, and the Steroid nasal spray are the best treatments. Basic anti-allergy meds can help somewhat, but not near as well as the Nasal sprays which act right at the site. Best wishes.

Something more...: elegant: leukotriene inhibition. I'm not a big fan of spraying things up people's noses, especially steroids that - besides being anti-inflammatory - suppress immune responses & may cause atrophy. Just a style thing. My personal preference - not concensus standard - is to go straight to Singulair 10mg daily aka montelukast. Works for atopic issues - allergic eyes/rhinitis, dermatitis, mild asthma.
