I am prescribed a steroidal nasal spray for sinitius. whenever i take it i can feel it dripping down and taste of it. is there can be serious effect if it gets swallowed?? i have also started facing hair loss can this be a reason??

There are several ways to handle this, including using saline nasal spray to help wash the allergens in combination with the steroid. You could also use water to swish and spit after using the spray to reduce the swallowing. There is systemic effect of swallowed steroid but it is not as bad as in taking dosed oral steroid. Hair loss could be due to several factors including androgens and stress.
