I had a small itchy lump on my leg and didn't feel much pain on the day. during the night it swelled up and became a large puss filled wound. help! ?

Go to ER: The "help", I'm afraid is a scalpel! Sounds like yu have an infected sebaceous cyst (sweat gland) You need care today!! Hope this helps Dr Z

Abscess: Sounds like an abscess. You need to be seen by a doctor right away. You may need antibiotics and drainage.

See Dr. asap: History and exam important to trying to determine what is going on. If infected, which it certainly appears to be, see a Dr., urgent care or ER before it spreads further

See a physician: You are describing a bacterial infection of your leg. This needs medical attention and antibiotic medicine. Don't risk it getting worse by treating it yourself.
