Corpus luteum: If you ovulated 3 days ago you do have a corpus luteum, but that does not mean you are pregnant. After ovulation all women have a corpus luteum regardless of pregnancy; that's what supports a possible pregnancy and what makes your period start in 2 weeks if not pregnant.
