Vague: Can't really venture an answer without a thorough history and exam. I would see a Dr. asap to help determine, if possible, the cause. Are there other symptoms besides the lump? Popping, clicking of the jaw joint, pain, locking of the jaw- opening or closing or both??? Could be a TMJ/TMD issue, but difficult to access at this point.

See doctor and have: it checked. Could be a cyst, lymph node, etc.
