Medical exam by MD: If this lump is anything bigger than one CM, you should watch it closely. Check it once every month and measure it for its size and dimensions. If there is increase in growth, then you need to go see your primary care doctor who may do an ultrasound examination to monitor it for any further growth in which case a Biopsy would be indicated to make sure that it is not cancerous.

?: This may in fact be a fatty process called a lipoma. You should see your doctor to verify. A lot depends on how long his has been present. You may need to have the area in question removed and evaluated under a microscope. Good luck
