One would consider neurologic issues, anxiety, heavy-metal toxicity and other toxicities as well as a host of other conditions. Often Spine Related: Pins and Needles sensations in the arms/hands, legs/feet can be caused by a disc bulge or herniation in the neck or back. If you get a shocklike sensation (particularly in your torso) when bending your head forward, see your doctor immediately.
