A member asked:

Will glucocorticoids restore ovulation in ncah? and how long approx until it does so?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Often, yes: Hi. Treating nonclassical congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) with dexamethasone (dex) is the standard therapy and often restores normal cycling and fertility. The dex dose should be adequate to suppress adrenal androgen production but be low enough to not cause Cushing's. It may take months for ovulatory periods to resume. Good luck!
