Bigger issue likely: loss of vision & hemorrhagic stroke if/when the aneurysm ruptures/treated, not death. Glad issue was found, 4 mm is quite large for this small artery, thus inherently thin wall. Some intracranial aneurysms can be clotted closed by placing a coil within the aneurysm. All highly dependent on the individual, individual situation & the skill of the medical personnel offering different options.
