Could be the 'flu': It's flu season now, and hopefully you've been vaccinated against the flu. The CDC recommends everyone over the age of 6 mo. get a flu shot. With these kinds of symptoms, you should probably get checked -not just for you but for those around you who you might expose. If caught early, there is anti-viral medicine that might help. Goldenseal is an unregulated herb- Western medicine has no use for it
