A fairly: good chance that test will be accurate. Waiting until period is missed gives a better chance for accuracy. There is about a 20-25% chance of becoming pregnant the first time you try. It takes 5 to 6 months for 50% of couples to conceive. 85% are able to conceive after 1 year.
