Menstrual cycle: The first day that you bleed is the first day of your menstrual cycle. Ovulation occurs 14 days later. Ten days post ovulation would be 24 days into that menstrual cycle. That said, fertilization of the egg by the sperm often happens in the Fallopian Tube. A pregnancy test only becomes positive when the fertilized egg produces bets HCG.
