Body and hormones: Implanon is still a hormone. Your body still has to metabolize it some we all react differently in how we metabolize chemicals. Ovarian cysts develop due to your hormones as well as exogenous hormones.

Unclear: These are not typical side effects of Implant. We should not jump to the conclusion that it is the cause. Ovarian cysts are slightly more common in Progesterone only birth control methods. The other symptoms you describe sound more like gastroenterologic issues. I would see and Obgyn for an exam and sonogram. Then possibly ask to be referred to a GI specialist for evaluation
