Back sprain: Sprain refers to the fact that no fracture or spine abnormality noted. Can not see discs with xrays. For recurrent pain consider NSAIDs ( motrin/ aleve)-if not allergic.. Also consider epsom salt 1/4 cup in bath 2-3x a week for 1-2 weeks. You can get other meds through Health Tap Prime or go to an urgent care.For chronic pain see doc, If you have bowel/bladder issues,weakness, go ER immediately
