Valve: Your bileaflet mitral valve is normal. It is a bicuspid valve. The mitral valve works like an inverted parachute when blood comes into your heart from the lungs the parachutes collapse and blood comes into the chamber. When your heart beats the parachutes open and do not let blood back into the lungs. Sometimes that do not close completely and that causes regurgitation. Usually some is common.
