My androstenedione level is very high. but my testosterone and dheas levels are normal. what does this indicate?

Further work-up need: Most mild to moderate elevations are idiopathic (no reason discernible) but high elevations could be related to adrenal gland over-activity or an adrenal or ovarian tumor. I would consult a gynecologic endocrinologist. For more info: www.AskYourGynecologist.org
