I'm using symbicort (budesonide and formoterol) for stage 4 emphysema. does this have the potential to extend life or is only to make breathing easier? thanks

Uncertain.: COPD & its treatment are very complicated subjects. There's some evidence that combining Symbicort (budesonide and formoterol) et al with a long-acting bronchodilator may improve survival in COPD. There's an excellent article on the WEB from the N.Y.
