No reason to wait-: A kidney infection is a clinical diagnosis- your symptoms fits this criteria. your immunosuppressed state is important to know since the muted immune response will mute symptoms related to inflammation. Based on the details, additional testing may be needed. The risk of getting a blood infection is increased- have the doctor check you out and go to the ED.
