A member asked:

What are the tests for urethral cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Find and biopsy: A cystoscope will be passed into the urethra and a piece of any suspicious area will be taken and sent to the pathologist. Patients with urothelial-type cancers of the urethra often have had or will have cancers in the bladder, ureter, and/or renal pelvis. These are often fairly easy to treat effectively.
