Can i go to my job (waitressing) with a stye on my eyelid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

OK to work with stye: A stye, or chalazion, is a blockage of an oil gland that opens at the edge of the eyelid leading to a lump in the lid. Sometimes it is also infected. It is not contagious, however, and is treated mainly by using warm compresses on the lid for 5-10 minutes a few times a day. Sometime an antibiotic might help it to resolve.
