Sounds like you: are stuffed up. Most of our ability to "taste" is derived from our ability to smell, and the nerve(s) that permit that are way up in the top of your sinuses. Even if you can breathe better, you can still have secretions in the upper respiratory tract blocking your nerve that percieves odor. The tongue can only sense salt, sweet, sour and bitter, & umami, everything else you taste is in the scent.

Irrigation of the sinuses with sterile saline, with OTC Netipot and other preps along with mucinex will help loosen the secretions blocking you sinuses. If a good hot shower with steam (leave the fan off) doesn't help, and you still can't loosen the mucus with saline irrigation, or if you have a fever a temp over 100.4, or this has been going on more that 7 days, see your doctor about antibiotics.

Sounds like: your sinuses have become either completely congested or possibly infected. The loss of smell and taste has more to do with your nasal congestion than the Tylenol (acetaminophen) Sinus medicine, which should help not make matters worse. You may want to try an over the counter saline rinse for your nostrils, but if that doesn't help, see your Dr to rule out a sinus infection.
