I would see your: doctor for an examination. This bump could be an abscess that might need drained, or maybe a lymph node or rash. A quick exam will be very beneficial in figuring this out. Best of luck!

Any painful lump: that is red should be checked. In this location the most likely condition to cause this would be a local skin infection or a sebacous cyst. But it matters what your health history is, how old you are, do you have other health problems, have you traveled,and what the lump feels like to the doctor. Any pain is a sign something isn't right and the best advice is to get it checked by a qualified DR
