Gulf war: Anthrax vacinations can produce antisqualene antibodies but these have not been shown to be realted to the illness. There is no specific blood test for this disorder which remains controversial. There is probably a functional aspect (pstds etc.) to at least some of the cases that I have seen. Some may have been ill from residual aspects of toxins.
