Bell's palsy: I am not aware of the gws being related bell's palsy. Bell's palsy is most common related to an infection or inflammation around the nerve that controls the face.

Gulf War Syndrome: Although there are a series of neurological conditions and symptoms that have been found to occur at a higher rate in some individuals who served in Desert Storm/ Shield - I have not seen any correlation that is specifically with Bell's Palsy.
