Best to consult with: your original surgeon. In general, you should expect maximum healing and positive change at a point six months after an operation, unless if there were complications during the healing process. Your surgeon knows what he/she did during the procedure and is in the best position to tell you if this is what you should expect, or if something else needs to be done.

A year: It takes a year for all swelling to resolve. Same with sensation to return.
