See doc: One clinical condition that will have to be ruled in or ruled out first is septic arthritis or infection inside the knee joint. The only way to accomplish that will be to have a knee tap. Time matters if this a potential infection since the infection can destroy your knee joint. The second benefit of a knee tap will be that most likely that wil secure a diagnosis based on the fluid analysis.
