Agree: Pleurodesis, or infusing material into the chest cavity to make the outside lining of the lung (visceral pleura) adhere to the inside lining of the chest (parietal pleura) is a standard procedure to help prevent fluid buildup in treating mesothelioma.

Chemical pleurodesis: can temporarily control recurrence of pleural effusion. But overall prognosis is poor.
