A member asked:

Is there any study that shows using half & half in a hida scan is as accurate as cck? my ejection fraction was 31%

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes.: Here is the link for that study: http://jnm.snmjournals.org/content/43/12/1603.full It shows that there is wide variability in the ejection fraction measured when half and half, instead of CCK, is used in a HIDA scan. However, the study concludes that both methods are acceptable. Hope that helps!
